No go for me.... Iclone 6 won't initiate.... I am sure its my graphics card with only 512 meg memory... oh well I got it for free so I'll just put it aside till I upgrade my graphics card or whole computer. Plenty for me to learn still with Iclone 5.

The Render quality looks pretty good on those Wendy.

Sympathies MrPoser, I'm in the same boat. I qualify for the latest version but don't have adequate hardware.

And an unforeseen car repair bill has just happened today. (Almost enough to have paid for a minimum-spec laptop that I wouldn't have wanted to buy right now anyway- such is life).

Be sure to un-install (if it actually installed) while you are online. Then you will conserve your permitted install or download numbers (whichever it is).

Nice renders, Wendy. You've wasted no time!

decent Graphics card the main thing needed
that is the idea of iClone being game engine based
fortunately cards are easy to install, I even helped my brother put my old one in his PC when I had mine upgraded, they generally slot right in where old one was and just a couple screws to undo on back plate for the monitor plugs.
Extra RAM is good though, I use it but not heaps needed I have 16GB that DAZ will use but iClone uses 6 - 7GB at the most usually that with multiple genesis figures like 10 or more!!! & a huge set with plants and barely any CPU, it is all GPU.
I have noticed Indigo uses the RAM and CPU though.

    Thanks for the info, Wendy.

In my case I need a 64 bit OS.

The rest of the computer is outdated enough to make it not worth while to upgrade the OS (and then get hold of a better PC sometime in the future and have to buy the OS again).

But temptation to spend lures me with her hypnotic eyes and beckoning finger ...

Look, among many other things, iClone 6 has dynamic cloth and hair now. A breeze!
