hit or miss dressing Aiko3?

i'm finding some of her outfits fit, some don't. even though they work fine in DS or Poser.
does it matter if the outfit is superconforming or not?
what other suspects to look for?
Thanks.
for example, when i try to use the (rdna) Hailey outfit, the hair works fine, the bodysuit isn't even close in space to Aiko. works fine in Poser.

you may need to apply magnets
DAZ does them automatically Carrara like Poser does not.
also using morph follower in DAZ studio now called transfer active morphs and saving the result as a cr2 or a duf for Carrara another option
I myself own and use morphing clothes to do this as it soon paid for itself on saving on buying unifits for G3 & 4 figures
Hmmm... I don't recall having many issues with A3 clothes except for a freebie from ShareCG, and I was able to figure it out eventually.
Have you tried the adjustment morphs?
well, it's not poke through, it's not near her figure.
i do have the Morphing Clothes s/w, there's an option to make something superconforming.
only til tomorrow to finish the challenge entry.
I've got Hailey, and it seems to work correctly (I assume "spacesuit" is the one giving you trouble), so... Couple of questions...
Which version of Carrara?
Is Aiko zeroed when you load the figure
Is Aiko at the scene root, or in a group?
iz 8.5P
i loaded AIko3, loaded the hailey hair next (hair works fine). added the suit. i made sure the 'fit to' was Aiko and not the hair.
the boots wouldn't conform correctly either, end up away from her body.
i tried fit to none, then back to aiko to see if it would reset something.
tried closing carrara, and restarted.
tried loading her mech suit and it conformed okay.
after all that, i opened poser to see if the spacesuit would conform correctly, it did.
that left me trying to figure out what was different between the spacesuit and the mechsuit.

Hm.
Have you tried in a brand new scene?
- Load Aiko, ZERO her
- Load each piece by dragging it from the browser to the "blank space" in the scene tree - do not drop it directly on Aiko
- Conform each piece with the general settings "fit to" drop-down.
I get a teeny bit of poke-through, but nothing like what you describe
Generation 3 didn't require or allow "Magnetize Clothing"
Some older clothing just requires manual conforming.
