I have a head model create from Blender. (It is A model in picture)

i want to change the look of the head g3, g8 like model A, is there any way to convert.
Or can a plugin tool morh G3, G8 head according to an available 3d model.
I don't know how to do , hope someone can show me how to do it effectively.

To make a morph of the new head for either G3 or G8 you will need to use a modeler like Blender. There are a number of tutorials over on YouTube for Blender and Daz Studio. It is not a one post answer anybody can provide ;-)

  • I also went through many tutorials from youtube. Almost will customize the head by hand kneading.
Here, if we have a plugin or a certain method, recording parameters from beginning A to pass parameters to end B, the process will be faster than molding.
And if you do it manually, it is unlikely that the first part B will then be 100% the same as A.
Also thank you for sharing, I also want to speed up the modeling process, it will help more or less in creating products faster.

Oh you might interested in FaceGen. That has the ability to morph from a 3D obj. It is sold at Daz3D as well as from their own website.

  • yes, i used to use facegen too. Maybe I'll try using a few other methods to find the best way to do this. Thank you again.

"used to use" ... this was an update to the plugin not all that long ago. Might want to update your plugin and give it another try.

    .............

Also if you have enough of those extra morphs for the figure, dialing in a little of this and a little of that might net some decent results for you too.

Export the base Genesis character to Blender and use vertex snapping and the shrinkwrap modifier to make the Genesis mesh conform to the head, then re-import the Genesis mesh as a morph.

well, I'm just newbie to blender with a few basic operations, can you tell me a bit about these two tools, or some tutorials about it for me to refer to.

Study this video, except instead of creating new geometry as they do, remember to only move the geometry that already exists on the Genesis mesh. If you add or delete vertices, you can't use it as a morph. For that reason, also remember to always check "Keep Vertex Order" on both import and export.
