How to unhide surface settings

Eva1Eva1 Posts: 1,249

I know how to hide a surface setting in the Surfaces tab but I can't see how to unhide it. For example if I have a shader mixer shader, I can say hide diffuse colour. It's still there if I load the surface into shader mixer, but I can't find anywhere to unhide it from view in the surfaces tab. have I missed something really simple, or is it forever hidden once the shader is saved like that?

The Surface pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) has a Show Hidden Properties option. If you want to permanently unhide the property, show it that way then click the gear icon on the slider, go to Parameter Settings and uncheck the Hidden box.

Thank you Richard! I totally didn't look at the menu and just went straight to the gear icon. I knew it had to be something simple:)
