Help exporting obj with textures to Unity
I created a group of four magazines attaching jpgs of my art to look like my art is on these magazines and I want to save the group of four magazines as a single obj. so the textures are attached and can be exported to Unity to be used eventually in VR. I want it to appear to be about 6 feet tall when standing next to it in VR. I have no idea how to save this correctly. 1 unit = what? What do I check off in the boxes so it’s one texture attached to the obj instead of a bunch of separate ones. It has iRay settings and I have no idea if that will work in Unity. Also, how can I tell how many polygons it is?
When I saved it, it came out as an obj. file, an mtl. file and a folder of maps. If someone opens it in Unity will the maps go in the right place or do they have to figure out where they go? Is there a way to save it so the maps are automatically attached in the right place? Also what is the difference between saving as an fbx vs obj? Do fbx files keep the textures?
Thanks for your help!

One of the differences between fbx vs obj is that fbx could save also animations.
Have you tried to use Daz to Unity bridge?
https://www.daz3d.com/daz-to-unity-bridge
It should give you similar look in Unity as with iray in Daz Studio.
I use mostly Unity LTS 2020.3.14 and 2021.1 to avoid problems with quality exports from Daz Studio.
