Blue Green Lines at Joints

As you can see below, there are blue/green lines at the seperation section/joint. As I do not know how to describe this, an image would be the best identifier of the issue.
What causes this and what can I do to remove it ?

I can't see, because the image is broken, but your issue sounds like UV seams are visible.
Are you rendering in Spectral mode?
