Hi Guys, so I made a girl Genesis 8.1 based with custom body, alittle extra on the buttocks area. Then i put some Stockings on her. No problems in DazStudio, but when i take her to Unity via DaztoUnity Bridge, the stockings has a bunch of holes poke through some around the legs but TONS around the buttocks area.Looks really bad.
Well my question is, what can be done for this? Can anything be done? INterestingly i was having poke through with the panties too but then that got perfect after i used the Node Weight Map tool but interestingly i didn't even use it on the Panty i used it on the Stockings. I'm not sure if it was the result of the Node Weight Map tool or if i just got lucky.
But really the Panty was also really ugly with poke through, now it's perfect.
So what should i do for the Stockings to get No pokethrough?

Can you not just use the Domaginarium shader?
- Support for alpha textures, that can be used for fabrics with cut-out transparent patterns, and also to mask parts of the body so they don't show through an outfit.
I bought that shader a few years ago, the people behind it were/are shipping a PS Vita game so it should be fairly light weight. I didn't like the results at the time but they have updated it a few times since (while I've stood stationary lol). I notice they have support for wrinkle maps now too which is my next obsession lol, might give it a look.
Yeah i have Dogmatarium's. It's old now though, last updated in 2020, and i used it back in built-in rendder pipinline when it worked, and i didnt' find it really useful or i did't know how to use it on the SKIN of characters because it actually deleted the DAZ character texture and it replaced it with this blob milky thing that didn't realy look human cause it didn't have texture at all. Anyways but as for using it for the Stockings, i was going to but like i said it no longer workin Unity 2021.1.5 it gives me a bunch of errors. ANd it doesn't work in HDRP which is what i use now.
I tried changing to HDRP/Lit shader but that also didn't solve the poke throrugh problem so i just solved the problem by making transparent the areas of pooke through which are the pelvis/butt area and just keeping the stocking area from the thighss down, i'm ok with that BUT then i noticed that in animations,,,,the dumb stockings because of the HDRP/LIT shader, the dumb stockings would come off floating off the character's body. weird. So i'm gonna try to use the DAZ3d/Iray/UberSpec shader again and just hide the pelvis/buttock area of the stockings(make it transparent)...
Just use different stockings from Daz 3D shop, that does not have such problems.
Different sellers has different skills in modelling and in Unity lack of such skills shows up.
