Clothing Not Showing On Leopold For Genesis 8 Male

This is a situation that just manifested today. I've used this character a few months ago and did not experience any issues. This is the character I'm referring to: SKU:58323

The clothing loads, and is listed in the scene pane. I think I'm able to make out what looks like a bit of clothing in some of the folds of his skin so it might actually be in the viewport. I'm runnign DAZ 4.14, and my system is a 10th gen I7 CPU, Nvidia RTX3080 GPU, 32 Gig RAM.  I know I must have somehow changed something with this character as he's the only one I'm having this issue with (at least today). It's been a rough week, and I'm looking forward to having fun with DAZ.

I also just noticed that shoes are visible, but don't line up with his feet- he seems to be stepping on top of them instead of wearing them.

Are the clothes "fit to" Leopold? Was Leopold selected in the Scene pane when you loaded the clothing? If not, the clothes are probably loaded in the scene but not fit to him. They are probably buried inside of him. If you hide Leopold by clicking the eye icon in the Scene pane, do you see the clothes?

    You can either:

    1. select each piece of clothing individually and in the Parameters pane, in the General section, select Fit To and choose Leopold.
    2. delete all the clothing from the scene. Select Leopold in the Scene pane. Load the clothing again.

Thanks for the suggestions, barbult. I hid Leopold, and the pants are there. They don't look as though they were "fit to Leopold", though. Leopold would require the pants to be far larger than the default.

I checked that the pants show "Fit To Leopold". They still  are buried inside of him.

What pants are you using? If they are pants designed for Genesis 8, they should autofollow Leopold's shape and fit to him. It sounds like they are not doing that for you.
Did you try deleting the pants from the scene, selecting Leopold and loading the pants again?
Have you tried some other Genesis 8 Male clothing to see if the problem is limited to that one product?
I don't own Leopold, so I can't test it myself.

Another thought: Do the pants have smoothing turned on? Perhaps the smoothing is pushing the pants inside instead of outside.

Edit: That doesn't seem likely to be the problem, if the pants are way too small for him, like they didn't adjust from default size at all.

I've been using the basic Gen8 male boxers. I'm going to try to see if others will fit, though I have used the basic ones on him before. I'll try deleting the pants, make sure I have Leopold selected and load the pants again, as you suggested (I think I've been doing that, but I'll double check).

You could also just right-click on any of the garments in the Scene pane and select "fit to".

Well, I made sure I had Leopold selected when I loaded the pants, and still the same result. I also tried all the other Gen8 male pants I own, and give the same results. Shirts are also buried inside him. Is there some setting unique to Leopold that I should check?

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly and that there is a problem with Leopold. Since I don't own him, I am guessing, but you could try this:

    1. Select Leopold in the Scene pane
    2. In the Parameters pane, click on Currently Used.
    3. Look for something like Leopold Body in the list of used morphs. Try to find the body morph and not just an overall Leopold controller morph.
    4. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the selected body morph. The gear might be very hard to see, depending on your workspace style colors. As your cursor hovers over it, it should become more visible.
    5. Select Parameter Settings
    6. Make sure there is a check mark next to the Auto Follow setting.

You could try submitting Technical Support a help request to customer service, but the response time seems to have become very long again, like weeks.

Maybe someone who owns Leopold will see this forum thread and come to your rescue.

If you just can't get him to work, you can submit a Refund help request (same link as above) within 30 days of purchase and request a refund.

Barbult, that's where the problem turned out to be! One of the Leopold sliders was set to max, but where the percentage should've been, there was a question mark. Clicking on the gear icon, I was able to enter 100% with the slider set to max. I also checked that Auto Follow has a check mark.

Thanks so much for your help with this! I never would've found these settings.

Wow, that's strange! I wonder if there is an error in the product or your installation got corrupted somehow. At least you found a fix, so you can continue working now. The forum is great for users helping each other.
