Render window missing

I'm not sure if this caused the problem. I purchased Mask and Multipass toolbox and now I don't see the render window when I render. I just get a dialogue box saying the file already exists Do I want to overwrite it. I don't see the render in progress. I on;u see it when I open it after it was saved. I also have no save options, very weird.
I trashed the Mask toolbox and that didn't help.

Check in your settings, Render > Render Settings > Editor > General > Destination, and see if it is rendering 'Direct to File' instead of New Window.

If that still doen's restore it, try clicking on the 'Defaults' button to restore to default settings.
