Hi,

I've been going over my old DAZ work, fixing it up, cutting it faster and re-rendering via the OCTANE plug in.

I'm up to episode 3, where you can Cryrogenic hypersleep your way into the future.

The brief for this was to re-render the original footage, cut it slightly faster and re-work the music in as little time as possible.

I got it out in 12 days, rendering pretty much 24x7 and working most days all day, with some weekend work.

Hope you enjoy the show.

For comparison here is the original from 2010. It was my 4th animation at the time and I was just starting to be able to throw light around a room, but still early days for lighting back then.

Also I very recently completed episode 2.

For comparison here is the original from 2010. It was my 3rd animation at the time and I was purely concentrating on animating back then, not lighting.

To come, my last one in DAZ - Episode 4. A bit of a monster...

Sci Fi Funk, the octane render makes quite a big difference and the animation does look better as well. Great job.

    Very good, looks great.

I remember wondering why that "Movie Set" product had a complete bathroom included. Now I know. :wow:

    Thanks mmoir.

It just hugs surfaces better and throws light around a room better. This is only the Direct kernel as well. I've learned a few tricks to disguise the Kernel, I'll be sharing my knowledge further down the line. Still winning my Spurs with this monster of a render package atm.
