Hello everyone:
I am having a huge problem, because when I use the DaztoMaya Bridge (version 1.8) to send a modle to my Maya 2020, the body gets shaterred in the way, like the skin weights got suddenly destroyed. I attach a picture so you get a clearer sense of what's happenHow can I fix this? Has it happened to anyone before?
Thanks in advance, and happy end of the summer!

Please put some clothes on the figure, use a non-textured view mode, or remove the textures.
Was that the mesh (does it look the same in wireframe) or a render effect?
1) Can you delete the files from C:\Temp folder about Daz studio fbx and xml files. If not, please check the Documents\DAZ 3D\Bridges\Daz To Maya\Exports folder and delete them all.
2) In Maya, check the FBX Import Options and look at the Namespace section. Choose second radio button and Apply.
I think I'm having the same problem here:

Tried deleting exports folder and changing import options, but it doesn't help. Can't find any documentation regarding import/export options either. This way I might as well give up on Daz and build characters from scratch - it'll save time and headache.
I was looking for a fix for that and stumbled upon this thread. Now I've found a fix that worked for me. The solution was to select SubDivision Level 0 when using the bridge in DAZ. Anything above that, will turn it into a mess. You can just add subdivisions afterwards in Maya, via the Smooth Mesh option on the geometry itself. I hope this helps someone.
