Cannot login

Hi,

I am trying to get started with my DAZ software - v4.10.0.123. When I try to load an 'Actor' from the PEOPLE sub-category, as instructed, I am presented with a login panel. Each time I get an error message telling me that the software was unable to connect with the server and so I am unable to proceed. I get the same error message if I try to 'Create a new account'.

I DO have an account with DAZ and my credentials DO work in my browser to go to the DAZ website, and indeed this community page.

Can some one please advise me on this?

If you installed the starter essentials through Install Manager or Daz Central then Daz Studio should not try to log in when you open a product, the fact that you do and that you are also having issues logging in at that point suggests some kind of security software issue/conflict. What is your operating system, and what security software are you using?

I am on an iMac running v10.12.6

For security I have Avast Security.
