Bryce 7.1 ask for entering serial each time I open it

Hi everybody. I've recently purchased Bryce and I must enter the serial number every time I open the application. I use windows xp sp3 in an desktop Dell quad core. Can anybody help me? Thanks

    I used to have XP, but it was a long time ago.

    Can you right click on the icon in XP on the Desktop, and choose Run as Administrator or similar? That is what I had to do in Win 7

    @lluisromero - welcome to Bryce and this forum. In the Bryce main folder, you should find the file ".Bryce70.dta", it has the hidden flag set. This file is written when you enter your name and serial. If not, you have to enter the serial each time. As JimmyC_2009 suggests, try to run Bryce as Admin the first time when you enter the serial.

    Thank you folks. I found the problem at last. Changing permissions to the data file was the solution, so I got no administrator rights.
