Sci-Fi Visual Novel WIP
Hello everyone!
I hope you're all doing well, you had a good week and you're looking forward to a fantastic weekend!
I've been lurking the forums for a while and thought I'd come out of hiding.
I've been doing animation work with DAZ Studio for the last 9 months or so starting last December. I've also been doing some Blender work. I wanted to thank everyone on the forums for providing so much valuable information that's allowed me to advance my knowledge and skills. This really is a fantastic community with a lot of super helpful and very knowledgeable artists.
I also wanted to share the work I've been doing for a new sci-fi visual novel series which chronicles the lives of an elite team of mercenaries who travel throughout time and space for contract operations. The series will feature humor, action and adventure.
This is a title sequence I created for the show that also doubles as a start video for Twitch streams.
The very first part, where the starship is traveling through the "Multiverse Corridor", I created in Blender with a startship acquired from Sketchfab. The 3D text was created in Blender also, imported into DAZ Studio, and then iRay shaders were applied.
The logo at the end is a logo an artist drew for me. I replaced the center with one of my Twitch emotes, vectorized it, converted it to a 3D mesh in Blender, imported to DAZ Studio and applied some iRay shaders.
At the moment I'm working on the series by myself with friends I've met through my brand adventures and casting calls online.
These characters and their adventures have a deep personal meaning for me as I created, and wrote about, them during a very tough time in my life. Their journeys and stories kept me going during those times. Now, I want to share them with the world in the hopes they might do the same in bringing a little joy to the hearts of others.
Plus, I now LOVE animation work now and want to continue that journey to become better in the future to turn this into a full animated adventure!
Thank you all again for the amazing help you've provided on this new life journey!
