Blowing out a candle

Trying to create and indoors scene for the character blowing out a candle, but I need to find a way make the flame curve, and maybe make the shadows lighter/softer. Any suggestions on what else I could do to this scene?

the flames on the candles in Strangefate and Rougey sets have curve morphs and so do the smoke trails, probably the best candles in DAZland.
Have you looked at Mesh Grabber? That's what comes to mind for me if i was going to attempt to bend something. It can be a little tricky to learn but once you get use too it, it's invaluable. I use it on almost every single render in one way or another.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have seen a lot of their products, and I think I'm gonna look into buying some of them if they go on sale.

I have seen that in the store, and it's in my wish list, however, I'm just nervous to buy it since it cost so much. I am getting a lot better at Daz, but I don't want to push it yet with buying the nice tools and not really knowing how to use them. I'll check to see if there are some youtube videos on it with people using them.
I bought Mesh Grabber. It can be useful sometimes, but I'm at the point where I feel like it's Baby's First Proportional Editing Tool. Due to its nature as a third-party plugin for Daz, it's limited in what it can do. I find that Daz's UI limitations make it awkward and hard to use too.
At this point, I'm comfortable just exporting an object to Blender (which is free) and re-importing it as a morph.
I know it's daunting at first, but once you learn how to do it, it's very empowering. Just get a grip on proportional editing (https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.93/editors/3dview/controls/proportional_editing.html), and you'll be able to reshape that candleflame easily.
margrave - Thanks! I've heard a lot of great things about Blender and I've wanted to try it out for a while now, but it just looks daunting with all of it's settings, and I'm still working on really understanding Daz, so I haven't taken the proper time to understand it. But with this link, I think the only other thing I'll need to figure out to start working with it is how to export something into blender from daz, edit it, and then pull it back into Daz. I have some googling to do, lol.
Sickleyield has a Youtube tutorial on making clothing morphs, so I'd start there.
The version of Blender in it is very outdated, but the theory should be the same. Plus you can always download the exact version she uses from the website if you want to.
