Render does not produce the scene inside the production frame.

The final render does not return the scene that is enclosed within the production frame using inside border.
The render seems too far to either side or leaves too much space at the top or bottom.
Is there a way to specifically define the size of the render scene and have it render the scene?
I am interested to render a single shot jpeg of the scene.

Are you sure you're rendering the scene from the view of the camera you THINK you are? :) :)
Go to Render Room/Output, and make sure the correct camera is selected
Not sure why it wouldn't render what's in the production frame...
Thank you for that...
Never have used a second camera until today. You might know it.
Sounds from your last post that Joe diagnosed your problem and you solved it. Cool!
This is just some general advice aimed more at those that come across this thread:
Sometimes it can help if you are able to post a screen shot or two of the issue you are having. Using the OPs problem purely as an example, a view of what the OP sees in the Assembly room and what the OP actually saw in the render room would help immensely to eliminate issues or diagnose a problem.
This is good general advice to everybody, especially if you're new to 3D. The terminology and jargon can be fairly esoteric sometimes and a new user may not have the particular vocabulary to describe the problem, so in that case, a couple pictures really would be worth a thousand words.
I do post screen shots often. In this situation it was simply a matter of not selecting the camera in the render that I used for the shot.
Not quite sure a screen capture would have helped.
I carefully title all my postings so that others can find them on the search. The search this forums is not very good, is why I post as often as I do.
Hopefully, other members understand. I always search on google, youtube or the search first... and I do find answers.
When I cannot find answers. I reluctantly make a posting. Searching the Carrara documents is not well done either.
I appreciate your comments
No worries. As I said, I was making a general comment and wasn't directed at any one person. I was just trying to make a point for new users that come across this thread. Your description was very concise, but many times, when someone asks for help, it is difficult to visualize the issue- especially if they are new to the terminology.
