Will an Intel Intel® Iris Plus™ Graphics card work ok with Iray? Cheers

If you mean "will Iray use that GPU to render" then the answer is no. Iray can only use Nvidia GPUs to render.

You would have to render with the CPU.

why do I need the ggekmo fun11?  it would let me put a gaphics card in (gpu) ?

it's ram and threads anymore isn't it?  (thank you for explaining the difference (to whomever does) )

No, it does not have the space or - as far as I can see - the connections (PCIe slot) for a GPU.

Maybe you can connect an external GPU with the USB 4 C port, but you need to double check compatibility
