DAZ Genesis > Maya > Unity Mecanim
Hi All,
Newb to Daz and Mecanim here so preemptive apologies.
I am working on a project that will use DAZ's Genesis which I understand is fully compatible with Unity Mecanim (stop me at any point if I'm mistaken).
I would like to animate in Maya, but was hoping that HIK could setup a controller for me.
Does anyone have experience doing this or know of a good tutorial I could glean some info from? I want to animate in Maya and export to Unity. I would like to avoid building a control rig if possible as I assumed that since both HIK and DAZ rigs are compatible with Mecanim (right?), I wouldn't have to.
If there is another way to get started animating quickly in Maya, I'm all ears. Don't really care what I animate on as long as it is compatible with mecanim and genesis in unity.
