Hi. I remember i was able to export some props, scenes, from daz to maya usind daztomaya. Recently with Daztomaya 1.80 and Maya 2022 i am not able to do so, it only exports characters to Maya and no props at all. Just to confirm can Daztomaya still export props?

I tried this as a experiment : load a daz scene ( abandoned Factory ) i also loaded a base g8f character after selecting them both i hit the daz to maya and a dialog appears and ask if i want to export the character or enviroment/props or both. i selected both ... and nothing happens.in fact daz to maya keeps importing the last g8 character i did a night ago. I went to the C:\temp3d folder and it is not used as the temp folder for this version ( 1.8 ) as it is always empty. I also discovered it makes no difference if you select them or not.....
I understand this is the current location where the files are stored C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Daz3d\Bridges\Daz to Maya the daz3d log file will show this as well. so i cannot get the daz to maya plugin dialog box to import the scene/props however if you go to the directory outlined it creates a FIG ( Figure ) Folder and a ENVO ( Enviroment folder you can import the FBX from there I just always check collect textures so i can work with them as needed. HOWEVER all of this is a prolonged Pain in the butt and i simply export a fbx of the scene from daz to my project folder and collect the textures and import the FBX into maya i have found only a few scenes that gave me trouble. It is a shame there is no source of proper documentation for these plugins. only the Daz to unreal has good documentation because the developer is active with unreal ( David V ) and he keeps it up to date with excellent tutorials and info. It is just really a shame the plugin seems to have the ability to export character or enviroment/props or both but no one is going to give information on how to use the darn thing...
thanks @davegv i will try to manually export and import into maya, hopefully all textures are intact for props.i wish this gets fixed somehow by daztomaya creator, and have a fix for next version. thank you for tips again!
