Workarounds for incompatible Daz items

I have an Unreal use case where I'd like to use a modified version of Containment Level in conjunction with FG Radio Talk Show. They're two excellent items and I bought them to use them. Daz Iray cannot reasonably (time & cost) render videos on my computer. I am dead set on getting these modified versions into Unreal, as an FBX file or an OBJ or even an Alembic (I have the exporter).
What is the best course of action? Why do objects in scenes move around after export-- do I need to remove their groups or altogether unparent them? What are the exact export (Daz) and import (Unreal) settings I need to get textures from a Daz OBJ export into Unreal 5? How are we (artists, not same-y corporations) ever going to populate the Metaverse with our creations if every moment of "building as fast as you can think" requires fifteen failed attempts and then crowdsourcing help from animation veterans on a message board? When will I be able to focus on the creative and not the technical aspects of Daz-to-Unreal? Thanks.

is the way they are parented, I have whined about this endlessly going to iClone and other softwares too
the same sets unparented in D|S will fall apart the same
I have not tried those two but countless others
When using the Daz to Unreal bridge change the Asset Type from Skeletal mesh to Environment. This does a really good job of figuring out which are duplicate items, exports only one of them then puts them back into the scene in the correct locations. There may be some cleanup to do but for the most part it works really well.
I have used this to transfer:

The Orion scene I had to export one asset at a time

Thanks. I have been using Environment but I did end up having to export one asset at a time for the scene I described above. But that's over and done with now, thank God.
