Serial numbers not sticking?

I have an odd and very annoying problem. Since the upgrade to 4.7 I have to keep putting in my serial number for DS 4.7. At first it was every other day, now it is every day and sometimes twice a day. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? It is starting to drive me nuts (my friends would say I'm already nuts :)), so any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    I haven't seen this. Assuming you are entering the correct code my suspicion would be that your security software was interfering somehow, or more alarmingly that some kind of malware was causing a blockage.

    I am copying and pasting the serial number directly from my account at DAZ3D, which is accepted and the program opens. But the next day and sometimes the next time on the same day it asks me for the serial number again. I am using the same security software that I was using with 4.6 which only asked me for the serial number once. However I have gone in and changed the firewall settings and will see if that makes the difference. Besides the security software I also run MalawareBytes fairly frequently and this problem has been going on for a couple of months but will run again. I guess I'll know tomorrow if it was the security software. :)

    Try running DS as administrator, then enter the serial number. After that you should be able to run normally.
