Daz to C4D (R24) and Maxon Moves
Hello,
Is there any roadmap to fix the compatability issues with Daz to C4D and specifically Maxons Move application?
Currently this doesn't work as the facial morphs do not animate / connect in R24, though the head rotation and the eye rotations seem to correspond to the face capture information.
As mentioned in the header, I'm using R24 of Cinema 4D (Windows) and have updated Daz and the C4D Bridge plugin to the latest.
I have tested this in R23 but the mouth of the Daz asset does not close.
It would be great to get this working as it would be a killer app for previs, considering most mocap applications are expensive whilst Maxons Move is offering basic body / face capture for free.
I'm referring to this workflow:

I just tried in R24, and it does work, although I'm having the same issue with the mouth not closing all the way. Which version of the Daz to C4D plugin are you using?
The latest via Daz Central - 1.3.0
The morphs don't work at all for me in R24, only the head rotation.
Hence, the reason I installed R23 to see if I could get it to work at all.
In R23, there's no eye rotation option with the imported face capture data and the mouth stays open as mentioned.
Hopefully this will be resolved as it has great potential.
When you say you got it working in R24, did you open the C4D file you saved in R23 or does the bridge work in R24? I've had enough of Daz, I know it's a free program but I spent way more on Daz content than I did for a year of a C4D license.
I'm having no problem using the bridge in R24.
