Learning Curve
Appreciate peoples help with my renders, still a lot to learn on Daz and Post-render, but no day wasted if you learn something, so comments good - bad or indifferent are most welcome.
I've attached a few renders that I hope will get comments on.
The Samurai Girl (Ko) close up in the snow was a favorite although I keep playing with the image every now and then.
The Woman with Parasol, I tried to mimic a poster type imagery, interested that it didn't get any likes in the gallery, this also has the least post-work of the images, so very interested in what people think of this.
The close-up face of an Asian Girl (B&W) was an early Asian Face close-up black and white model render
The very dark image was based on a photo of a niece who also happens to be a model, lastly the karate Girl on Ice was an attempt to merge Bryce and Daz
All in all, my works tend to be organic in nature, that is I see something that inspires (clothing, image, prop etc) and then play around to discover what comes out, of course this shows but it helps to build up a skill base, trying to move to more planned modelling where I have a final image in mind, but skills limited at the moment, but fun anyway.

Hi Ed..
Nice work. : ),
Only two thing stick out for me - The woman with the Parasol looks kinda spooky like a Doll, you might try a softer lighting set up see if that makes the shadows a lil more Natural. An the woman in the Rain, lovely image; but on a 2nd look its seems to me her hair is dry; not responding at all to the water. Seems to me a lil post work to flatten/wet the image might make it more convincing. That said - I think I do like that image/concept best. Good work. BB.
