Here are a couple. I don't think I can link to one so I will just give you some search terms. If you can't find them, let me know and I can PM you.

    search for

Carrara tutorial cripeman spline mailbox youtube

    and

Carrara tutorial Kixum spline bolt renderosity

The Kixum one is a series of screenshots in the Renderosity tutorial section, not a youtube tutorial.

Sounds like he's done with radiation, so hopefully he's in remission!

I'm waiting for when he feels up to creating another tutorial. Kapow!

I had no idea. If you are reading the forums, get well soon.

    he's got good stuff up.

i'se feeling ready to try spline modeling pipes and chainlinks.

keep getting sidetracked by particle physics demos, is fascinating to watch.

Sorry to hear Cripeman is unwell. Hoping for the best for him.

As for Spline Modelling, it seems to me that most of the models which come with Carrara (eg Aircraft) have been built with splines.

Sometimes I'll open such an object and ungroup its parts (sometimes I need to ungroup several times over) and then I can edit it in the Spline Modelling room - just to see what changes what.

It might help to try that as well as building from scratch.
