mcjHands - ** New Version ** - Helper script to pose hands - For Ds 1, 2, 3, 4
this was designed for the needs of the upcoming midi-music-to-daz-studio-animation kit of scripts,
but it can very well be used in other animations
One animation operation i often find myself doing is to bend all the finger joints at the same time
this script can speed up this type of task

A real thing of BEAUTY! I can now use those to pose the hands as if the hand is holding onto or gripping a object. Nice!!!
and BTW, the first link, I got a 415 error that file is not found
note that it's geared toward pianist poses
i'll probably have an updated version tomorrow
with a non-pianist mode

what i mean : the shoulder rotations are aligned with the figure's chest ( shoulders )
this works well when the figure 's arm are posed like a pianist
but many of the other finger and hand rotations will behave in the way you expect them to
This looks totally awesome, so useful!!! How about two figures walking while holding hands? I haven't been able to work that one out!
This script is awesome!
Pose the hands with it is way more easy than using the PowerPose!
you could do this by animating A and B walking side by side from frame 0 to 100 for example
then at frame 0 you pose them so they hold hands
then lets say A will be the leader of the arm swings
create a null node, place it precisely at B's hand position ( you could use mcjParent to do this or mcjMakeTarget )
we will call this the target
parent the target to A's hand
use mcjAutoLimb or mcjAutoLimb2014 to make B's hand follow the target
this will perform the monumental task from frame 0 to 100, 1000's of tweaks in a few seconds
i'm not sure this part always works but : use mcjHoldOn to make B's hands remain in the same relative pose to A's hands

which may work on other figures even genesis
turns out that mcjHands was very useful time saving for the hand-in-hand pose work !

so as i was saying earlier, this script was crafted with pianist hand poses in mind
now the "piano" mode is optional
in non-piano node, rotations will make sense even when the figure is not in a pianist posture

Nice script, feels easy and smooth to use. Alot quicker than manual posing actually.
I would love to have reset functions on it. Like Reset Hand, Reset Finger, Reset All Fingers without affecting palm nor thumb.
to do this usually i go in the 3rd tab and 8 clicks later the 4 fingers are zeroed
I will have to try this soon. Need to install those Kettu's lights first :)
