Hi,

I have identified 1 thing that I'm not pleased with my render. Theres some eyelash reflection in the eyes? which just makes it look wierd and theres some white dots around the eye area. How do I fix this? :)

The white dots might be fireflies, which means you have to render longer.

Or you could just fix them in Photoshop, since there are so few of them.

I don't know what you mean by eyelash reflection.

  • Those are not reflections, they're just shadows. There must be a light source from above causing the shadows.

    Thanks for the answers guys.

Does make some sense I guess, I have rotated the HDRI so it lights the character somewhat straight on, but If i change the rotation it still doesnt disapear.

The max samples is reseting to 5k.. will lock it on higher value.

Well, eyelashes do cast shadows over people's eyes in real life, too, that's a part of what they're there for really. So it's not unrealistic like that I think, just that the lashes are maybe a bit too thick and therefore the shadows are, too. Maybe you want to try with some finer lashes.
