Diffeomorphic Rigify pose library from DS

Hi. I'm in Blender 2.92, and I'd like to create a pose library for my Rigify characters. I'd like to use something like Pose Thumbnails if I can (unless there's something better I should be using.)
What's the correct way to save poses, and, more importantly, import poses from DS? I've tried importing a posed character, and saving the pose, then importing the exact same character in an A-pose, and linking to the posed library, but when I go to apply it, the pose is greyed-out.
And again, I'm using Rigify.
Thanks so much in advance for any help.

with diffeo you can save pose libraries, import pose works with any rig

Blender 3.0 and above has a new Asset Library and Pose Library. The old pose library is still there, but I would recommend looking up the new pose library. It is fantastic. It takes a little understanding to figure out where and how the poses are saved, but after that it works quite well. Here is my workflow so far, for anyone interested.
1) Import a clean version of G8F (or whatever character you want to pose) using Diffeomorphic.
2) You can delete the eyelashes and anything extra. We only need the character and rig.
3) Eliminate empties, join rigs (if you have anything additional like geographs), and apply all the normal morphs (except body morphs, I don't use those). Convert to Rigify.
4) Now, to save a pose, I make all bones visible except for 'custom', make sure IK is off, import a pose via diffeomorphic, and 'create pose asset' using Blender's new pose library. You can make some adjustments before you save if needed.
Now you have a pose saved in your blender pose library. You can go back to whatever scene you are working on and just apply your new pose to your G8F character from the pose library. Make sure you have all the same bones visible (all except 'custom'), and IK is turned off. I have a blender file saved in my blender asset folder to only import/save poses from DAZ. It is easier for me that way, but might not work best for everyone. So far the poses I've saved for the base G8F figure worked on other custom G8F figures.
The new pose library also enables us to blend poses and apply a pose to specific bones. So far it works really well and it is only in the early stages.
Me too tried the new library in 3.0 and works fine for me. The diffeo system works with the old library to keep compatibility with 2.9.
I have to agree with Krys Kryngle... The Pose Library if pure gold. One of those things that I can no longer remember how I got by without it, and know that I never would again. The interpolation it does in magic and with the Animation Layers plugin, it works well with mocap data. I think the Pose Library was as important and addition as Cycles-X in terms of just fundamentally changing how I use Blender. It's a worthwhile upgrade.
I did hear all about Blender 3.0's new Pose Library. Unfortunately, I'm right in the middle of production, and I make it a point not to upgrade or change my workflow mid-project. (Bad experiences of the past.)
The Diffeo pose import works well though, so I can definitely stick with that.
