Transfer textures from a fbx character to a Genesis 8 model

Hi! would need to transfer textures from an fbx character, with its own UV layout, to a Genesis 8 character. Is it possible to do that? I read on the internet that Maya has a map transfer feature from one object to another, but I don't know if it's okay in my case

Hi! I would need to transfer textures from an fbx character, with its own UV layout, to a Genesis 8 character. Is it possible to do that? I tried with Wrap3d when I wrapped the character for G8 compatibility but torso's texture was not transferred correctly. The character has many tattoo and I need they match correctly in Daz. I'm frustrated..Thanks!
The obnly way, which may well be what Wrap3D was doing, is to have a Genesis 8 that matches the shape of the other object (or vice versa) and bake the maps from one mesh to the other - there are many tools that will do this. If the Torso was wrong are you use that that exported Genesis 8 and the one you aplied the maps to were using th same UVs - if it was Genesis 8.1 that has its own UV set as well as the base Genesis 8 and the Torso/Head areas show the main difference.

Thanks for reply. The main problem is that the character has many tattoos and it is very difficult to apply them correctly, also because some are on the shoulders and neck and therefore must be placed on the areas of conjunction of the textures. I also wrote in the Maya section because I know it has a texture transfer tool between two subjects, but I don't know if it's for me
Are you needing to transfer the tattoos separately, or it just that there are distortions? UVs don't slide, so if the base shapes are very different then some stretching or compression is inevitable - however, if the correct UVs are being used the seams should join correctly.
What I would like to do is transfer the tattoos together with the textures because there are some (eg the one on the shoulder, those of the neck and back) that go on the seams on Daz. What I attach is a facsimile of the torso's texture without tattoo. As you can see, it's different from Daz's one (the shoulders are missing, the back of the head is missing and the intimate areas are missing). These areas are part of the other textures (eg the back of the head is in the texture of the face, the shoulders are in the texture of the arms and the intimate area is in the texture of the legs). At these points in the torso, where there is no correspondence with the layout of Daz's texture, Wrap3 clones the same texture repeatedly and does not instead take the missing parts from the rest. Surely it's me who's not capable. It's difficult for me. I hope I explained myself well..

I cannot afford Maya but I believe it does a UV transfer ( I used that in my 30 day trial to make a rough V2 UV for Genesis 3)
I tried Blender, but honestly I had no success. I'm not expert unfortunately. I'm looking for a clear tutorial and now I'll try to take a look at the one you sent me. Thank you
