    Seems too good to be true, it will be interesting to see how much this costs and how it actually works for real. But definitely worth keeping an eye on - thanks Ringo for bringing it to our attention!

    The thing I find most difficult to believe is that Microsoft actually developed some high technology IN HOUSE. Incredible. Their history has been buying every technology company on the planet, but I don't recall ever hearing them developing their own stuff. I thought they are only good for making the most user-unfriendly and counter-intuitive operating systems ever produced. :) :) :)

    But yeah, this sounds cool. In fact, the "cool" factor far outweighs the actual usefulness, IMO, so it probably will be a huge moneymaker.

    I dunno, not sure how many people really want to wear their computers on their heads. Nowadays you're always bumping into people whose noses are buried in their cellphones, but I guess in the future it will be people wearing these cool computer glasses, with their eyes darting all over as they do FB instead of watching where they're walking. :) :) :)

    Microsoft cannot make anything original. The entire company is and always has been based on buying or acquiring technology from others.

    The Expression Studio, which was supposed to offset Adobe was a complete fail. Microsoft is giving it away now as a free download.

    Microsoft bought FoxBase/FoxPro one of the most competent relational database development tools.
    It took MSFT a decade to undermine the quality of FoxPro it was that good.
    So, Bill just took what he could from the Fox and tried to apply it into Visual Basic.

    Gates is a good businessman, that's it. He is no Steve Jobs. There is nothing innovative about this company.

    The spirit and drive behind innovation and forward thinking comes from the top in companies. I don't see that in Bill Gates, never saw it before. Why would anyone expect a viable change.

    3D animation is far beyond placing a few primitives on a screen.

    Maybe we should hold out for someone who knows the difference between a "Hologram" and a "Stereoscopic viewing Device".
