I wanted to get back to doing some bots and this guy ended up being a hybrid Bot/ Mech. Someday I guess I'll make a normal humanoid robot, I mean to get to it but then quirky ideas come up. I hope this guy will help grow your world of the future.

I came to comment on the iconography and ask the same question, but I understand now thanks to you.

The bot was looking like an octopus with the shape, but I had no plans to do 8 legs. Then I made the Squid Game style texture map because my mind free associates way too much, and I liked it enough to keep it. But I was more inspired by the Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell so I was going for a more police style crowd control deal. So that's what happened.

I don't normally buy robots, but this one's in my cart. An extension of a cockpit and the ability to hide parts of the shell for "interior" shots would be an instant sale for me.
