View Short Cut Keys lag in the Vertex room? Any suggestions to fix?

Hya,

with regards to the View short cut keys lag in Vertex room and in Vertex mode in Assembly room, any suggestions for a workaround?

apart from the clicking the Camera/ Front/Back/ etc view thing at top left

    Just a thought that I gleaned from a Mark Bremmer tutorial:
    Try switching the working view from OpenGL to Software, see if that helps ;)

    me too, I;m always hitting three for director's camera and then going doooh, better go and make a cuppa coffee , and bake a cake and change my socks (normally I change the right for the left on Thursdays and turn them inside out every three days - cleanliness is next to Godliness ;) )

    thanks Dart, it made it a little quicker but gave me a big lag in the poly selection process
    but instead I went to opengl
    slid the slider to the left for performance and dropped the texture map down to 64 by 64 (from 2048)

    then problemo solved
