Many of you will be familiar with the amazing work of Carrara artist e-brink. Well he has outdone himself with an incredible piece of animation, and having looked around, I can't see any references to it so thought that I would bring it to everyone's attention. You will want to see this:

Excellent excellent work! The lighting and texturing was 1st class. The robot's walk cycle wasn't perfect, though it looked much better trudging through the snow and walking underwater. Also the human's voices were very robotic, sounded like a text to speech program of some kind. In a one-man production with no special budget to hire voice actors, one possibly better solution might have been to use a program like MorphVOX pro to alter one's own voice (can easily make a man's voice sound like a woman's and vice versa) and still make it sound like natural speech.

Overall though, one of the best animations I've seen on these forums ever. Incredible work! I don't know of the guy who made it ever frequents these forums, but if so I wanted to say bravo!

It's good that an excellent movie like this was made in Carrara.

Very good, very polished. Reminds me of the Pixar short "Burn-E" that is a takeoff on the feature length "Wall-E". (That's high praise)
