    I have to ask, do you have no control over when your Carrara products (like the great "Realistic Seas", or the great tutorials, or ...) go on sale? I am not at all familiar with how DAZ handles PA products.

    I can request a sale myself, but I have agreed that they can also put my items into a sale to fit with a particular theme, so it benefits from a more general promotion. I think the system works well. And if it promotes more sales then both DAZ and I benefit!

    OK, thanks. I somehow had the idea that DAZ would contact each vendor before each sale, but that would probably be too much trouble. I certainly also benefit, especially when the percentages get big. Somebody once told Woody Allen that the biggest sin in their family was telling a lie, he said the biggest sin in his family was paying retail.

    Thanks Stezza but it ask a program to download (very strange) and I don't have it.

    OK, I just receive a confirmation order with a download with a "DIM", but I read that is for DS and Poser, not Carrara...
    And I don't have Carrara on this computer.

    You can manually download the Poser versions in your product library, they will work fine in Carrara. I never use the Install Manager.

    Nice tip, thanks. A minor thing, the "Ankle Widebelt Pump" is for V3, not V4, so maybe I can get my money back. ;-)

The one for $7.49 includes ONLY the additions for Carrara 8.5 (from C8) and was intended as an addition for people who already had the C8 training. I wouldn't want people to think that you get the full 8.5 training for this and then be disappointed. The full C8.5 training is also on FastGrab at $29.99, which is a 70% discount.

    And an excellent value I might add. These tutorials are done the right way, showing how the features are used in real projects. And in some cases how to use the features in ways unintended by the programmers. Too many tutorials are along the line of "to open a new file, go to the file menu and select "new' ". These are not like that. A very good way to learn and/or refresh your abilities with Carrara, which has a lot more features than first meet the eye.

    Oops, missed that detail, I wondered about the discounted price being that low. Still a great deal for $29.99 @ 70% discount all the same. Thanks for clarifying.

    DADA - no problem, I just didn't want someone buying it thinking it was one thing, only to find out it was only part of what they wanted.

    Steve - thanks for the kind words. I tried to make it as useful and relevant as I could - but there is always more to learn. I do new things with Carrara all the time that I haven't tried before or new ways of approaching things. Hopefully the training will give people a solid foundation, and then things like this forum and this community are invaluable for sharing ideas!

    The programs, Carrara 8.5 and Carrara 8.5 Pro, are also on sale in the fast grab at a steep discount. This being the Carrara forum, most of us won't see it because the store doesn't show items we have already purchased unless we uncheck the appropriate box.

    Well it's both the Carrara 8.5 program, both Pro and Standard versions, and also the 8.5 Training are all 70% off in FastGrab.
