    Speaking of DZFire, I very strongly recommend Nurnies Greebles Parts and Pieces and Nurnies Greebles Parts and Pieces vol. 2. They work great with Carrara, and if you have any interest in making vaguely sci-fi-themed images, they're incredibly useful.

    My other half worked on the 146 here at Filton... worked on Concorde, too, in his youth!  smiley S

    DAZ3D Freebies seem to be new again... I know that I just posted something the other day... wondering if I didn't purchase them then instead come here first.  What is a bit cool and $ad at the same time... I unhide today and the list is larger of couse since I already have a lot that are listed... expect that I paid a few $$ for what I have.  Oh well... .. .

    It was down after a couple of hours, I think there might have been a mistake made to have the sale perhaps.

    Late to the party as usual.  Or early as the case may be.  I noticed the changes but when I saw them, they were still charging full price even though they were in the freebie section.  I sent a ticket and about 5 minutes later it was fixed.  I managed to get the items but had to run and didn't have time to post here.  Glad everyone else still noticed. :)

    Just grabbed what I wanted... and rushed here to report, too late.  Note there are also some textures for Generation 4, a char for Hiro 5.

    Looks like there is new stuff added to FastGrab... too bad I'm pinching pennies right now.

    The Kids 4 Pro Bundle, marked down from $100 to ~$3.  Poser formats so should work well in Carrara - I already have most of the 18 included products and don't recall any problem.

    I use Genesis 2 in Carrara.  The main issue is saving time and file size.  In terms of figure rigging, posing, texturing, etc., all systems are fine for genesis 2 in Carrara.  Genesis 3 needs special stuff by Misty available at that other 3D store.

     

    If the saving time and file size are major concerns, then you won't want to use genesis and genesis 2.  Otherwise, yes

    I don't use Genesis characters, mostly because I have a lot invested in Gen4 - clothes, hair, morphs, mocaps, etc. - and I mostly do animations so the mocaps in particular are important.  I defer to users like Diomede who know the ins and outs.

    laugh  Yup, way down south in Texas.  I don't go to pubs much (yes, we have pubs), but I do go to baseball games.  From the Houston Chronicle: "The average beer in Major League Baseball Parks will set you back $5.98 for 15 ounces."   Not even a full pint, much less an Imperial pint.  no
