    Yes, I know it's G3...thank goodness and I bought him! I was just noting that so much G8 is being rolled out... that it's a bummer for me at the moment though I know there are Carrarians working on G8 for Carrara use.

    Some of Dartanbeck's Carrara products are part of the PA Sale Megafastgrab today, at 65% off (or more, if you buy certain other stuff). I can strongly recommend ... well, pretty much everything.

    Also, some GKDantas Carrara products -- skin shaders and the GIDome lighting system -- are still in regular FastGrab.

    Dammit, I spent over $100 yesterday on stuff but somehow missed this, even though this ship is in my wishlist.  D'oh!  Ah well, there's usually a repeat sale over everything at the end of the month, maybe I'll catch it then.

    I was able to pick up all the 'Airport Island' products at steep enough discount it was worth it.  I have no idea whether they work in Carrara yet though, but like everything else I'm reasonably certain I can get them to work. Won't have much time to play around and find out though til the end of the week.  I only mention because I know I someone ask the question about whether these work in Carrara or not in the other thread, and there was no answer, so hopefully I'll be able to answer that soon.

    Good catch, I would have missed it.  BTW, that whole store is on sale for 66% off.  Also, I did buy one of the products long ago at Content Paradise ... wink

    Can you give a link to one of your videos?  A friend of mine is a pro court videographer, he uses cameras like that.

    There are a few films on Dailymotion but in this time I used a Sony PD170 DVCam. It was my first video camera, before it was in 16mm and now in HD.

    My wife makes the comments in french but in this film on the IceHotel in Sweden, the creator of this "huge igloo" speack in english.

    Very impressive, a documentary of the same quality as the Public Braodcasting Service (PBS) here in the US (high praise).  Here in Texas, Lapland sounds like the most exotic place in the world.  The closest I've been is the Colorado Rocky Mountians, at the ski resorts in winter, including an outdoor hot tub (the problem was getting to it, about a dozen steps from the heated interior), even a dog sled ride (really).  Here is a Google translation of your video's summary:
