Background/secondary characters, like the hooded guys behind the villain here (maybe the glider pilot also, I don't remember ...)
Re: Lorenzo and Lorretta - they wear M3 / V3 clothing pretty well. I know it seems a bit strange but you can remove (kit bash) some clothing out and get them to wear other stuff. Then they act as very low poly 3 level characters - so exceptionally useful for padding out a scene with a lot of characters.
For my first film I also used atangeo balancer to reduce the poly count of the m3/v3 clothes. So you can either put them with a Lorenzo for example or if you want to go a low as possible, even strip out the body below, save the whole thing as an obj and then apply an m3 skeleton to the mesh. In the picture below all those characters are animating, including a couple of cut down M4's in the flying taxi.
Anyway in summary - worth getting.

It is acting strange in Carrara. Neither the default load, nor converting to blended weight preserve all of the limbs. All of the limbs appear in Daz Studio but the back legs do not appear in Carrara. Is there a solution other than converting to blended weight?
Hello Diomede, don't have this critter but had my eye on it.
In the Carrara render it looks as though the legs don't correspond to the joint receptacle on the body, is that the case ?
Other than blended weight I don't have any ideas for this one. Maybe Misty might be able to help....

does the full figure ( mesh ) appear in the modelling room?
try clicking the limits icon off then animation tab zero pose
many 3DU things need this, can turn limits back on afterwards if that is it
No. Only the shell appears in the modeling room. Hmmm. Haven't seen this before.
