Smart Content Settings?

HonzoHonzo Posts: 193

I have found that if I load an asset from 'Environments' in the smart content tab, that nothing else will appear in the tab- I suppose because nothing else is specifically designed to stand in front of a building.  Alternatively, if I load a figure from the smart content tab, the environments category disappears completely. How do I access both from the smart content tab?

Either de-select whatever you just loaded (in the scene tab or by clicking on a blank area of the viewport
OR deselect the filter box near the bottom of the Smart Content tab to remove the setting (sorry I can't remember exactly what it's called) that shows only content that is compatible with the figure/prop currently selected.

You probably have the Filter by Context box checked in the Smart Content pane. Filter by Context means "only show me products or files that are compatible with the object I have selected in the Scene pnae". So, for a figure, it will show clothing, accessories, materials, etc. that you can load on that figure. For an environment object, if it had compatible materials, they should be shown (assuming Daz created the metadata correctly). If you want to see all content, just uncheck Filter by Context.

    Thanks, both of you.
