Sadly, I didn't think to grab a camera in time to start shooting video when we saw the most incredibly insane piece of truck driving ever. MAJOR intersection ... dangerous enough that signs were clearly posted that a particular turn could NOT be made. So this truck driver starts driving as he should through the intersection - just enough - so then HE BACKED UP through the insection while also changing the truck into the lane he had to be in -- in order to legally make that particular turn.

There's a new [or new to some] ATM scam thing that's been happening, so beware: concept is to be CERTAIN that one signs OUT after making any bank transactions after using a scan opening. Or don't do scan openings because if the card reader won't take the card, somebody has put glue in it.

Ya I heard about scamming at bank machines, that company is not the only one that happens with.

No, it's not the companies ... it's the scammers, using whichever is available to them. Thankfully a few victims were able to get reimbursed but it was a fight.
I've never encountered an ATM that was still 'open' on anybody else's card.

Apparently the weather isn't hampering the scammers, still hard at work to infiltrate computers. The other day I went to a website to get info about one of their landphones, egaads, it was an attack site. Okay so that phone is headed for the trashbin. Ransomware nonsense. I've encountered this type of thing twice now and so far all has ended well. First thing of course is to pull the plug on the internet service so nothing else can get downloaded. Watched a movie one time where, when his room sized computer was under attack, the fella started pulling all the cards out by hand. Had a good laugh, I mean really, there's a plug. Use it.

Big storm yesterday, had the power out briefly ... resulting in yet again a situation with some hardware SO am about to try and replace a modem. Let's hope it works. Hard to go online without a modem.
Today a funny thing happened. Where we were parked to wait for a bus, my little dog started barking and apparently somewhere somehow with the arrangement of surrounding buildings, an echo resulted. She was barking at herself lol ... Her echo sounded like it was situated over in a neighbouring apt building - so I muse who's going to be getting into trouble for having an invisible dog barking in their apt lol ....
