Magnifying glass icon, increase % and with camera selected you can also drag the corners
If anyone here reading that does plugins, I would LOVE a solid bounding box view esp using replicators.
cookie for plugins :cheese:
i zoomed and zoomed. couldn't find the borders of the production frame.
had to create another camera. :)
Hi Misty Whisky :)
Pic to help
You can hold "Alt" and click the magnifier tool to zoom back out, if you've zoomed in.
but you may also have used the "Pan" (Hand) tool to move in 2D, so your Camera's "production frame" can become lost.
It's better not to use those 2D tools, but to use the camera "tracking" tools to either track in or out , pan, left or right, or rotate around any selected object.
You can also hold "Alt" and click-drag in an empty part of your scene, to move around, use a combination of Left click and drag, or Right click and drag, while holding Alt to move the camera around.
You can also set any camera to the "Reference" camera position, ...this is the default view for the Directors camera.
Saving different camera positions as you roam around the scene, then moving your main camera by loading different positions at different points in the sequencer time-line, can be a simple way to create a camera animation.
thanks
couldn't figure out how i lost it in the first place. twice in one week was up late passed midnight
the 2d tools the culprits. release the kracken on them. :cheese:
can someone make a cbr file uncompress utility?
thanks.
I'm not sure I understand, but, if you mean just have it in a readable form that can be opened in a text editor, ZIP utilities do it perfectly (personally, I use 7-ZIP, but most will do).
how do you do that exactly?
it's not like a binary file or something?
thanks.
can save the whole car file uncompressed.
looks like this is the shader section.
Actually, it is a zipped text file, which makes it binary.
If you unzip, it's a text file (but hardly easier to read :-)
internally, the file lacks the 4 bytes magic word identifying a ZIP file, so yan can not just rename it to .ZIP. You need a tool for that.
If you install 7-ZIP, you just open the file with it and voilà :-)
Below is an example of what you'll find in it (it's the beginning of the aged copper shader)
Good luck for decoding :-)
thanks. hunting the internet for 7-zip :)
and there's no syntax for telling carrara which uv_set to use on genesis?
