DAZ Studio 4.20 Update In DIM Questions

I have been running DS 4.20 for some time now, and haven't had any issues with it. I installed it through DIM, which now shows that an update for DS 4.20 (it doesn't identify the version) is available.

Has anyone installed this update? I like to keep things up to date, but for some reason I'm a little hesitant in this case. In practical terms, what improvements does this update bring? I tried looking in the forum section that deals with software, but I'm just not familar enough with the terminology to understand what is being addressed.

    I'm looking at my DIM right now.

    I don't see an update for DS.

    If it's been a while since you last ran it:it could be from that time a few days ago(last week) that it was flagged as an update, but wasn't.

    Is it showing an update for the plugins also, or just for DS alone?

    DS+Plugins=actual update

    DS alone=someone pushed the wrong button and flagged the current version as an update.

    Yeah, not the first time it's happened :)

    Hi, I'm looking at my DIM right now as well. It shows up at the top under Product Updates, DAZ Studio 4.20, no plug-ins.

     

    Thanks for letting me know, IceCrMn. It makes sense that it would be human error.
