Fifteenth DAZ 3D Bryce rendering Challenge
___________________________________________

NOW SPONSORED BY DAZ 3D

Theme for this month is "Movie Scene"
ᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿᵿ

Take a scene of a famous film and convert it to Bryce.
So lets us see how much you can think "Outside the Box" with this one.

This thread is the WIP thread, so you can post here to show us how things are coming along before the render is transferred to the actual Contest thread for judging. You don't have to do that.we collect up all the finished ones and make the thread, with each render given a number and title, but no artist name shown, so it's a blind judging thread for the judging panel.

Rules
~~~~~
All renders must be new renders.
You can enter up to 3 renders.
You must abide by the DAZ 3D forum TOS
Imported content is allowed, but the render must be obviously a Bryce render.
Post Work permitted, but please keep it to a minimum.
Rules may be changed for subsequent Challenges, depending on the theme and the person who has selected it.
The winner of the Challenge will get the chance to name the theme for the next contest.
This will then continue with subsequent winners choosing the theme for the next contest, which will enable a new contest to start with the minimum of delay between contests.
Whoever nominates the subject for the Challenge can modify the rules to suit that challenge.
Please don't post your entry renders anywhere else until after the Challenge is judged, as judging is done in a blind judging thread, so the Judges don't know who has done which image.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Challenge ends on 31st June 2015 :- Midnight DAZ 3D time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DAZ 3D Sponsorship, in the form of Store credit
Ist Place $30
2nd Place $20
3rd place $15
In addition DAZ 3D Store Credit will be given to the people whose renders are selected as the Honourable mentions,
$10 for each of 3 honorable mentions
We will also be offering a special prize for the render judged the best from a Bryce New User. DAZ 3D will add $10.
Judged by members of the DAZ 3D CV team and guest judges.
By entering this contest, you agree to allow DAZ3D to use any artwork you submit in any promotional materials they may choose.
    Okay, then I'll try my luck.
    My first entry:
    Oblivion
    It is a scene from the movie Oblivion and this served as my inspiration:
    I'm not a big movie person so I wasn't sure if I would enter this contest, but after seeing drachenlords' awesome render, I'm going to skip this one. WoW! That's a fabulous job. Very impressive.
    Hey you can't give up without even trying. It's a challenge remember. Challenge yourself to do something different.
    hey fencepost, thanks for the nice comment, but come on. Do not give up without trying it. You have a lot on it and it would be a crying shame if you do not show that. A battle can win or lose, but who does not compete already lost, right?
    Drachelords - Wow, impressive work, really captured the scene.
    As for my first entry, not as elaborate but had a lot of fun putting it together.
    And as they say in the Lego movie
    EVERYTHING IS AWESOME
    Great Works both :-)
    and a nice Idea with Lego... i love it. :-)
    Don't know if I get an Idea for this theme... because I had in the last 2 Challenges 4 Scenes from Movies. Now I have no Idea what I can do once again..... so maybe if I get no inspiration then I'll wait for the next Challenge.
    This was a hard one as I seldom watch tv or movies :-)
    I do remember this scene from Planet of the Apes (original).
    https://kentpleasetry.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/planet-of-the-apes-statue-of-liberty1.jpg
    Charlton Heston finds the Statue of Liberty and realises he is on Earth only far in the future.
    after working on it since yesterday I have a headache today trying to get everything positioned :-(
    My second entry is from the movie Gone with the wind
    It has been years since I saw the movie and could not remember whether Tara had been damaged by the fires.
    So I took a bit of dramatic license.
    Vivien1 suggested I do a yellow brick road. I didn't. However, that suggestion led to this. The title:
    Dorothy's Descent to Oz
    This was done in Bryce 5.5 using a highly modified free house model I found on TF3DM.com. I used Paint Shop Pro XI to downgrade the colors to "sepia", since that part of The Wizard of Oz was still in "black and white", (which should have been called "brown and white"), but no other modifications were done from the original Bryce render in post-work. This scene is about 18 1/2 minutes into the movie. I was going to call it something like "Witches Better Duck", but they didn't, so I didn't.
    Thank you Bigh and Drachenlords for the comments
    CTippetts - Glad you made a scene from The wizard of Oz. I must admit, I though of the house in the twister, but no way mine would have looked anywhere as good as yours. Very nice.
    Actually I think it would be good to see different peoples ideas for the same film, why not.
    Mind you I say this because the film I was going to work on was "Gone with the Wind" :coolsmirk:
    @ CTippetts:
    An interesting way of implementation. Nice that was thought to this classic movie.
    @Fishtales:
    Very cool.
    And to all:
    Why should not be allowed multiple interpretations of the same film? It's interesting to see how the same material is implemented differently.
    And hier ist my second entry:
    Argonaths
    Its a scene from Lord of The Rings - the Fellowship of the Ring
