Genesis 8 hair floats above Genesis 8 Females head

Hello,


I'm still a Daz Studio rooky, but I'm getting a little bit better every day.
Now I have a problem with this hair ( https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-lexi-hair-for-genesis-8-females ) on this genesis8( https://www.daz3d.com/sc-imrae-for-genesis-8-female. )  I've been looking for possible causes, but haven't found a solution yet.
The hair always hovers quite a bit over the head.
The other Gen8s I tested are working fine with this hair.
Does anyone here have an idea or a hint as to what this could be?

    Make sure you have the character figure selected before you load the hair.  That character maybe shorter than average.  In the hair's parameters under Misc,  make sure the "Fit To" field points to Imrae.

    Hello FirstBastion,

    thanks for your answer and please excuse my late response.

    The character is selected and "fit to" or "reparenting" did not work. I'm not sure why this happens exspecially to this gen8. Other Gne8s are working normally. This character is shorter than the average, but other small characters are also working.

    I found a solution that worked fine for me.

    The good Jay has made a Video, that helped:

    It can be found under misc, as you already wrote. Sometimes it's that simple.angry

    In my case I was able to help myself with that.
