Hi there. Please, how can I do to make work the genesis body morphs character in Maya using the Daz to Maya bridge?
The Daz to Blender bridge works fine exporting all the JCMs body shapes from daz to blender but it doesn't the same with Maya.
Thanks!

Yes, I've got the Laylo software and works fine. I turn to the daz bridge because I saw, the bridge for blender works pretty well, subdivisions, morphs, poses, animations, and so on. I thought maya bridge would have some improvements.
Hi there. I\ve installed the new Daz to Maya Bridge update. Now subdivisions works fine but body blendshapes still not work properly. Any suggest please? Steph
Are you on Mac? There is an issue where the Morphs object is currently not generated on Mac. You can still access each individual blendshape from the Attribute Editor tabs of each object. I will try to make a video soon.
Hi Daniel. Thank you so much for your reply. I'm running Maya under Windows 10. (2019,2022 or 2023) blendshapes doesn't work. I mean, it is shown on Shape Editor windows but doesn't work when you moves any controller.
Pic1: Basic Genesis 8 for export
Pic2: Basic Export Setup
Pic 3: Imported to Maya, blendshapes doesn't work automatically
Pic 4: Manually works! but why not automatically? If you check out the Genesis 8 Maya from Laylo, his plugin deals right with blendshapes automatically but does not recognize the DAZ subdivisions, that's the reason because I'm very interested to get the Daz Bridge working fine.
Best Regards!!
OK, thanks very much for the screenshots and the description. I think you are referring to automatic Joint-Controlled-Morphs (JCMs) and not just manual control of morphs/blendshapes. I will record this as a bug on the Github report that you filed and will look into this. Thanks for your patience.
Please put the Viewport in Smooth Shaded Drawstyle if you are going to show a nude figure.
Sorry, fixed!
No, I'm afraid painting out doesn't count - see Acceptable Ways of Handling Nudity
It's perfect now!
