Confused about Next Gen Male

I see "next gen male" and "Michael 5" and sometimes "Michael 6"........ Are these each separate items?

    Michael 5 is an expansion for Genesis, Michael 6 is an expansion for Genesis 2 Male. I don't know what "next gen male” might be, other than a bit of marketese for the current - when it was written - latest generation.
