Migrate to new HD

I'm running out of space on my hard drive, where I've got My Daz Library setup. I gotta a new 1T drive but when I copy the root Library folder, all the DIM links are broken. And of course I want DS and DIM to be hooked up too.
Is there some other folder I need to move or "convert" for a smooth migration?
My stuff is installed by type, different folders for: Gen4 Figures, Clothes, Hair, Gen5 Figures, Clothes, Hair, etc. Very handy (thanks Dart) but takes a fair amount of time to setup, so there's no easy way to just have DIM install everything all over again.
Any advice on this? Thanks

If you make a full copy of your HDD (same letter), nothing is changed.
I use Acronis True Image in this case.
Don't forget to make a recovery disk before you start transferring files.
Power outages are unforgiving.
Thanks.
I'm not actually replacing my old hard drive... the new one is an "additional drive" - a USB3 drive. But DIM thinks "nothings installed" after I copy My Library over to the new drive.
I presume there's some "other folder" that needs copying for DIM's understanding to hook up? A database thing or whatever?
