Hi,
I am trying to find the walk/running cycle for Dogs. There are some poses but they are not sufficient. Is there any proper walk cycle for animals.

There are very few animal walk cycles indeed, I find one needs to retarget them for other animals if you can find one.
BVHacker is the free way to do this.
I myself use the rather expensive route of iClone and 3dxchange.
I believe there are a few other cloud services too like Mixamo that do it but unsure.

    Hi,
How is your experience with BVH in DAZ3D. Because looks like its lot of manual mapping has to be done.(http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/12784/).

well that is where BVHacker can help too
you can change the bones used create new hierarchies etc
is a bit of work though
I use the iClone workflow as it is much easier and I use iClone anyway so suits me
thing is with BVHacker you can make a quadruped walk cycle from a biped one duplicating legs and renaming bones to suit the animal
try this one I made for Lynes rabbit from A CMU BVH https://app.box.com/s/d9mbmcvdijl35ei3b69w
its an aniblock but should give you an idea

Truebones has a zoo pack that has a bunch of animals with walk and other animations. I purchased it a while back for $20 something and it was well worth it. You can use this free program to retarget the animation to anything else.
