Vanishing Mouse Arrow?

Is anybody having this problem? I've just started using build 243 for the first time (coming over from 8.1 Pro) and had my mouse arrow disappear. It's still there, and still registering, but it has turned invisible on screen. I've never ran into the problem on any of the earlier Carrara versions before.

    Do you have a cat arrow in your Carrara library ?
    If not, it's very strange.

    The only felines around my system are the two in the real world, and I can assure you that they had no involvement in this (they were both napping at the time)

    This usually happens with laptops or other machines. The function key like F5 is the toggle for turning off the mouse cursor. Forgot what it is to turn it back on though. Occurs in Win 7 to Win 8.1 (maybe others).
