Hi everyone,
I've never posted work on my profile or in the gallery, so what is best practice for doing this? Also, how do you submit for the main gallery? Any advice on what tends to get chosen? (obviously thats as wide as it is long subject matter wise, but perhaps there are pointers worth making?)...
Any advice would be great, some of the work I've seen here is amazing!

You mean you don't see the Post Image link?
Hahaha...
very funny for a fellow computer demon, but I thought there was like a submission process for the Daz+ gallery or something? Or is it just all one big thread of posts or what? Evidently I didn't make this very clear but I guess I was after a distinction between any different galleries, its not so far fetched to imagine theres more going on than that one link...
Basically you are posting work to your own gallery that is hosted on this site - then the general gallery link on the Daz Site pulls and collates images from everyone's gallery. There is an approval process but AFAIK it's just to ensure that your image does not break the T&Cs of the site - there might be other things they check for I suppose but I havn't seen anything to specify one way or the other. Within your own gallery you can break the images down into several categories/sub-galleries or just put them all in one - whichever works best for you.
You simply post your art to your gallery, it shows up in the new section in the main gallery feed, then if it gets likes (heart in top right) then if it gets enough hearts, it makes it to the trending page otherwise it slowly slips down and off the new page over time. Your personal gallery will continue to display it.
There is a short review of you first image uploaded to simply make sure the image is meeting the User agreement rules. (no nudity, extreme violence stuff like that.
Top Class description, that's exactly what I was after, Thank You SofaCitizen...
Thank You FirstBastian, again, just what I wanted to know...
