cant put serial number on carrara pro 8.5

Hi sir, I recently bought carrara pro 8.5, downloaded and instaled it through daz install manager. A carrara pro 8.5 icon appeared on my desktop and I clicked it. A user interface appeared telling me to put my name and serial key code. I wasn't able to put my name and serial key, and I just clicked ok. It the directed to the language choosing portion, after I chose English, the program crashed indicating that it stopped working. So 1st thing I thought is maybe because I wasn't able to put my serial key code. I then clicked the icon again in the desktop. However, instead of directing me to the interface where I have to input my name and serial key, it directs me to the language selection portion instead, and when I chose english, it crashed again. Everytime I will open the program, it does not direct me to the interface where I have to put my name and serial key code, it directs me automatically to the language selection part. So my question is how can I make the interface containing the serial key code box appear again?

    What computer platform (Mac or PC) and what OS version?

    Its a pc version. Windows 64 bit.

    That could be Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. They each have their own little bugs, just as different Mac OS X iterations introduced different problems.

    Anyway, without being a Windows user, I can only suggest what I have read, and that is to run as an Administrator. How to achieve that in Windows is beyond my meager knowledge. Hopefully someone that does know how to do it will pop in if you still have problems.

    Right click the Carrara icon on the desktop, then 'Run as administrator'. It should prompt for the SN on startup, input it and it should remember the SN going forward. You can find your SN under your Daz account (top of the forum page here above the search bar 'My Account' and then clicking on 'Serial Numbers' Icon in your daz online account
