Daz to Maya for non-biped products

Is there a way to use Daz to Maya for rigging non-bipedal products? There are some creatures/animals I'd like to animate in Maya but don't have time to learn rigging. Is there anything out there that can take existing bones and create a control rig from them? I know there are tons of autoriggers out there but do any work to create just the rig and keep the skinning data from Daz to create the animation controllers? It seems most autoriggers are for bipedal/humanoid figures.
